As I sit here at 2:18pm on April 20, the outdoor temperature is currently 41 degrees. That’s up from 35 degrees just a few hours ago.

The walls of our house seem to be caving in lately. Five kids and a dog are climbing those walls as the “spring” days remain awfully wintery. But we strive to maintain a positive attitude…sorrowful yet always rejoicing, no?

Seeing that we were bound to yet another indoor recess after lunch today due to the weather, kids were getting a little nutty. We were doing tripods and handstands for a while, then Ruth made up a game which had two rules: 1. walk around with your eyes closed, and 2. laugh and get up when you run into something. This provided our in-house entertainment for the day. We thought we’d share the laughter.

At 1 min. 30 sec. it becomes apparent that Ruth should probably go take a nap now.
