When you’re a girl living in a house with four brothers, a good girlfriend is essential. Up until now, as Jake reminded me, Ruthie’s BFF has been her reflection in the mirror.

But now Ruthie has Bethie. Every time they meet, they hug. I love it!

They share a need to always have their hair in clips…

…as well as a love for silly hats.
