As part of our Geography studies, we enjoy trying foods from various parts of the world as we learn about them. A few weeks ago, we studied Germany. The German meal is a unanimous favorite to date.

We made soft pretzels from scratch,

along with bratwurst and sauerkraut, with creamed spinach on the side.

Before digging in, Jim reminded us of a comical video highlighting the “beauty” of the German language.

The meal was made complete with some Apple Streudel.
