We learned about homogeneous and heterogeneous mixtures a few weeks ago and learned that milk and cream are examples of homogeneous mixtures.

We did an activity where we separated the fat from the watery part of whipping cream by shaking the cream in a jar for several minutes. The result?

Butter! We sprinkled some salt onto the solid creamy goodness, spread it onto toast,

and enjoyed!
