According to Wikipedia, today marks our Silver Jubilee (25th wedding anniversary). We are praising God today for His gracious hand upon our marriage. A look back 25 years ago, to the hour:

It’s hard not to look at our young selves and think we were just a couple of kids, knowing but not totally comprehending the fact that we were committing ourselves to one another for a lifetime. Well, here we are, a quarter of a century into it!

Ever since our ski-trip honeymoon, we have celebrated milestone anniversaries by strapping the skis on and heading back to the snowy mountains. For the first time, we traded our skis for hiking shoes and headed to the snow-less mountains.

We are more keenly aware than ever of our utter dependence upon God and His grace and mercy. And so very thankful to be celebrating this silver jubilee!
