Derek awoke bright and early at 3:00 Saturday morning to meet the wrestling team at school for the 2+ hour bus ride to Kewanee High School. I left a few hours later to cheer on the team.

The tournament was an all-day affair, which made the drive worth it. It’s great to see the team improve with every competition; some of the guys had their first varsity wins of the season this day.

Derek ended the day with two wins and two losses. A glimpse of the day:
