Jeremy was running around with a cork.

Jake asked him what he had in his hand, and Jeremy answered “cork”.

Jake said (to Jeremy and everyone listening) “that is much too big to be a quark”.  I just looked at him dumbfounded as Jake stood laughing at himself.

I asked him what’s so funny, and he explained to me that quarks are tiny particles that make up atoms. “Get it? Cork? Quark? haha.”
