As Jeremy sat on the couch yesterday working on grammar, he was grasping his broken pencil. He turned toward me and shared a truth from the Bible.

He said, this is how we see us:

and this is how God sees us:

Who knew that even a broken pencil could demonstrate a truth about God.

For God sees not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart. (1 Samuel 16:7)
